Maybe if you can put 40% down.

But without a job, its a tough one.

Many lenders will require that you have

life insurance for the balance of the loan.

Why would anyone with a 520 credit score and no job want to buy a house? The answer is likely NO. That particular person displays neither the willingness nor the ability to repay a loan.

If you DO get one you will be socked with HIGH points, and an unbelievably high percentage rate (probably over 8%.) This will lead to high payments for possibly 40 years. With a credit score of 520 it is clear that you are an unreliable risk that has been famous for late payments, deliquent accounts, and possibly one or more repossessions. If I were a loan officer, I wouldn't grant you a loan--you probably won't repay it.

If you can find a partner willing to loan you their credit and if you're able to make the payments then you can get a house.

It's possible but I think your main focus should be getting a job or work on securing a line of income.

VERY VERY doubtfull. my husband and i are buying a house and i am a fulltime student and i am not working right now because im focused on school. and my credit score is higher than my husbands BUT i could not be on the loan because i dont have a job, so the loan had to be in his name only.

You need to be able to pay a loan back. If you have no income you won't be able to repay the bank, so they have no reason to loan you the money.

are you kidding? you cant get any loan w/o a job. you have no way to repay. your fico score is barely on the scale. you have alot of work to do to qualify.

My friend...you really should get your priorities straight and get your credit back into shape first. Homeownership is a privlege, not a right.
