it's generally not a good idea. supposed after you both are on the title, and someday someone suits your girlfriend and you might be forced to sell the house.
but that's just a side note. to add your girlfriend's name to title, you can simply write a new deed, notarize it, and send it with a check (usually less than $15) to the county recorder's office to have the new deed recorded. the process is very straightforward and you do NOT need a lawyer. you can call the county recorder's office for detailed instruction and fee info first.
there might be tax implication as your girlfriend receives half of the house.

If you're that serious get married first! Or if you're plain stupid just go to the lawyer that has the mortgage papers for your house. I'm sure he'll be glad to relieve your money!

Unless she takes on part of the mortgage and you re-fi. or if is paid off, I don't think you can. Even if you married her, you would have to re-fi. to do it. What is yours before you marry stays yours, unless you re-fi. or sell and buy another...

get a lawyer to do it, you can also try county register indexes but it will take too much time.
