As everyone else has said Flat and Apartments are the same thing (Apartment is a posher word for flat and so flats in posh areas will be advertised as apartments the majority of the time)
A studio flat is when you have a separate bathroom but the bedroom, living room and kitchen are all in the same room!
Studio flats tend to be cheaper than standard flats as they have less rooms...
Hope this helps! x

flat and an apartment are the same. "Flat" is normally British English and "apartment" US English.
A studio is a flat (or apartment) where the kitchen, living area and bedroom are the same room.

Studio is one big room, with a bathroom and kitchen (usually). An apartment has a separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and livingroom. Don't know what a flat is.
